Garrett Peltonen
Formally a professional cyclist racing for the Bissell Pro Cycling Team, Garrett has a wealth of experience in a variety of endurance sports. His great success began early, with winning a collegiate Division 1, cycling National Championship while enrolled at UW-Madison. Shortly thereafter, Garrett signed with the Endeavour elite cycling team, his first step as a professional cyclist. His performance and work ethic earned him contracts with teams like Advantage Benefits-Endeavour, Priority Health and Health Net PB Maxxis Professional Cycling Teams. As a member of Health Net PB Maxxis, Garrett was able to race internationally and had some success including a top ten in a French cup UCI 1.1 - Trophie des Grimpeurs.
Garrett finished with his professional cycling career as a rider for the Bissell Pro Cycling Team and currently, is finishing his degree in Integrative Physiology at the Univeristy of Colorado-Boulder, where he resides, and plans to pursue further education in Exercise Physiology. In addition to returning his focus on education, he has renewed a passion for trail running and will be competing in several ultra-endurance events. Additionally Garrett continues to enjoy cycling, snowboarding, mountaineering, and long boarding.
