Roxane Kruse

Roxane is no stranger to multisport.  She was a three-time NCAA Division III All American in heptathlon, has played doubles beach volleyball for over 10 years, and has spent the last 5 years competing all over the country in XTERRA off-road triathlons.  She was the 2008 XTERRA Midwest Region Age Group Champion and in 2009 she qualified and raced in both the XTERRA USA Championships in Utah with a top 10 age group finish and the XTERRA World Championships in Maui.  Roxane has raced as a sponsored triathlete for Team Priority Health since 2010.  She has also competed in a variety of 5Ks, trail runs, mountain bike races and road cycling races.

Roxane is a certified USA Triathlon Level I Coach.  She has a passion for educating others about the sport of triathlon and enjoys seeing others “catch the tri bug.” As part of the volunteer staff for the Grand Rapids Triathlon, Roxane coordinates and presents clinics on the various aspects of training and racing.  Her “day job” entails working as an associate manager in the financial analysis group at BISSELL, where she has been employed for over 7 years.
