Classes at Athletic Mentors

Athletic Mentors is now offering group exercise classes at our Richland facility. Currently we are holding TRX Bootcamp, Indoor cycling/Spin, Yoga, and Bootcamp classes. These are a fun and interactive way for you to reach your specific strength and fitness goals in a group setting.The cost of the classes are listed below. With package purchases, the sessions are valid for any of our classes. Feel free to try them all out!

Package Prices:

$175 for 20 sessions
$125 for 10 sessions
$16 for 1 class (drop-in)

TRX Bootcamp

The TRX suspension trainer is an excellent workout system that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises. You are in control of how much you want to get out of each exercise, as you can adjust your body weight or body position to gain as much or as little resistance as you need. Suspension training uses body weight exercises that develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. Each class will be fun, different and will challenge you as much as you need!

Offered Thursday mornings 6:00 am – 7:00 am starting September 29th.


Bootcamp

Bootcamp is an up-beat, high-paced, full-body workout. Though challenging, it is always scalable. We encourage and welcome all fitness levels with a variety of intensity, exercises and options. Whether you are looking to test your limits or simply get started with a fitness routine, bootcamp classes are a great way to combine strength, cardio, flexibility and more!

Offered Tuesday mornings 6:00 am – 7:00 am starting September 27th.


Yoga

Yoga is a helpful way to reduce stress, relax the mind, and increase flexibility. Additionally, it strengthens the body and core, promotes balance, prevents injuries and builds self-awareness and self-confidence. All in all, Yoga is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. This class will consist of warm-ups, postures, breathing exercises, balancing poses, sun salutations, and will end with a relaxing segment known as savasana. Join certified Yoga professional Kimberly Brown to experience the great benefits of Yoga. This class is open to all fitness levels; beginner, intermediate and advanced. Over time, practicing Yoga will allow you to develop strength, flexibility, and breath awareness which helps to calm and focus the mind.

Indoor Cycling and Spin

Spinning, or indoor cycling, is an energetic class on stationary bikes that focuses on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery. You will be led by an experienced cyclist who will ensure this is a cardiovascular workout that will strengthen your legs and make you feel powerful enough to hit the roads and trails in the coming season. Note that we have limited number of spin bikes and we recommend that you bring your own bike and trainer. We have winter storage available for a fee.
