Brett Tracy

A Gull Lake native, Brett grew up playing both baseball and basketball. In High school, Brett changed sports and began running on the cross country and track team. This transition led him to become interested in the different training styles necessary for each type of sport. During his senior year, he suffered an ankle injury which ended his track and field season before it could even start. Without access to a specialist, Brett learned exercises to heal his injury himself. These events led Brett to pursue a degree in Exercise Science at Grand Valley State University so he could better understand how to train effectively and safely.

Brett graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Exercise Science. During his internship with Athletic Mentors in 2021, he met a lot of inspiring individuals and fell in love with the optimistic atmosphere facilitated by the AM coaches and athletes. Brett accepted a position at Athletic Mentors in May of 2021 and aims to help athletes avoid and overcome injury or discomfort when training.

Brett is currently working towards acceptance into a graduate school to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy, as his true passion lies within musculoskeletal rehabilitation. In his free time, Brett enjoys running, listening to albums, and playing the drums or guitar.
