TAMJD Introduction Blog Guidelines

Below Is A List Of Items You Need To Include In Your Introduction Blog (not necessarily in this order)

• Name, age and grade
• How long you’ve been cycling and how you started
• Where you’re from and where you go to school  
• What MiSCA team you race for and what class (JV, Varsity, Adv. Middle School, etc)
• How long you’ve been on TAM Junior Development and why you joined
• Some race goals (MiSCA and non-MiSCA) for this race season and possibly next
• Your favorite place to ride
• Your favorite race
• Do you have a favorite group ride
• What you like the best about riding and racing
• What are some new things you’d like to try with cycling/racing while on TAMJD
• What have you learned about yourself with racing
• Any hobbies or other sports you play and why you do them
• Which cycling discipline do you like the most (Road, MTB, Track, Gravel, etc)
• Anything else you’d like to include
  
• Blogs should be 600-1000 words and include at least 2 pictures
• Upon completion submit blog to your Captain

2026 Blog Schedule

Per each JD rider contract, sponsored athletes are required to write at least one blog each season. New athletes to the team will write an Intro blog as their first entry, which is outlined in the Intro Blog document above. Additional blogs may be written to gain points. All blogs should be first reviewed by your team captain (Terry) before submission to the Team editor. Please direct any questions to Terry if you are unsure of the process or what is acceptable.
