Andre grew up in Los Angeles, California playing all the major sports, and found that his two favorites were hockey and soccer. At the end of middle school,  he had to choose which sport he wanted to fully focus his time and energy on and chose hockey. Hockey has allowed Andre to visit so many new places and meet so many awesome people who have impacted his life and shaped him into who he is today. Through hockey, he had the opportunity to go to school at Northern Michigan University in Marquette of the Upper Peninsula. As a kid, and especially an athlete, he has always been really interested in the body and how it moves and functions. In college, he graduated with two B.A.’s in Exercise Science & Health and Psychology. Andre is currently a player for the Kalamazoo Wings in the ECHL, but is very excited for the opportunity to join the athletic mentors family and get to meet and know everyone.
