Roles to be Assigned:

Tent setup: Person gets chairs, banners and tent to the event, recruits volunteers to help and is responsible for setup and takedown. This includes picking up items from Athletic Mentors or from the last person who was responsible for it. After the event, help to coordinate getting items to the next person or back to Athletic Mentors if the end of the season. If location for setup is known before the race, communicate to Katie (AM) for the team weekly email.

Pictures: This person is assigned to get podium shots and collect race photos. Photos should be shared with the person doing the blog report and back to AM for the team website and archives.

Twitter: This person is assigned to tweet throughout the event via the team twitter feed. Results should be reported as they come in. Race winners are reported regardless of team, and any team athletes who finish with good results.

Food: This person will bring water coolers for the team tent area (they can use my big coolers with tap water and ice). Coordinate volunteers for snacks (not required but nice touch).

Blog: This person will blog a race report after the event. The blog should include photos of the team area, any podium shots and key race results for all PH teams.

Race Coordinator: Coordinate assignments for each team event and ensure that all tasks are completed effectively. The goal is to provide a consistent team presence at designated events that create an environment which facilitates building team participation and camaraderie and at the same time produce sponsor visibility.

Please fill out below form to volunteer for the team race on 7/13/14. Volunteering for this race is a contract requirement for all athletes on this team. If for some reason you are unable to make this event then you will need to find a family member or friend to fulfill your responsibilities. Refer to the Race for Wishes Volunteer List to view which tasks have openings.
