This SIX WEEK program is for those who are thinking of doing that first triathlon or for people just looking to be more comfortable in the water. We’ve added this session to remove the intimidation felt by newer swimmers when in a class with advanced triathletes. Whether you are afraid to put your face in the water, wanting to feel more confident in the water or interested in improving your form, this class is for you. We’ll work on proper stroke technique, breathing, confidence in the water and build your fitness and endurance for swimming.

- Athletes will train with some of the best swim coaches in Southwest Michigan, including Coach Tom Belco.
- Sessions will include some on deck instruction for additional swim related coaching, including assignment of workouts for independent training the remainder of the week. It is recommended that athletes swim 1 day per week outside of class time to achieve optimal performance improvements throughout the duration of the class.
- Athletes will have access to optional swim specific strength sessions at Athletic Mentors gym in Richland, Michigan
